About Amanda

Hi my name is Amanda who recently moved from Chicago to the area for work. I recently acquired my Master of Social Work and am a licensed social worker in Illinois. I have had continued experience working with kids of all ages for over 10 years. I am a very responsible and reliable person with over 7 years of babysitting experience with both older and younger children. I was also a nanny for a 3-year-old for 1 year. I have worked 3 summers as a Summer Day Camp Director working with kids ages 5-12 and have spent the past 3 years working with at risk youth ages 10-18. I have a passion with working with children and providing them with the proper care. I am a very organized but flexible person so I would be able to complete a variety of tasks. With my current skills and experience, I would be able to provide your children with a safe and fun experience. I do work full time from 8-5 p.m. but would love to provide you with date nights or any weekend childcare needs.
