Hello, my name is Amanda, I have an almost 2-year-old son, and I have worked in childcare for 16 years. I have done summer camp, before and after school care, in home and center based childcare, and full time nanny. I would love to find a situation that would allow me to bring my son with me, if that is something you're open to. I am not currently looking for full time employment, but more 1-2 times a week of before and after school care. I love kids and would love to be able to share my knowledge and experience with your family!

Amanda was our full time nanny for our children for 4 1/2 years and became a part of our family. She is kind, creative, loving, fun, reliable and inventive. She was like a second mother to our kids in all of the best ways, adapting with them through the years that she worked with us. She helped both of our children to learn and grow, she has a truly incredible way of communicating with kids to help them learn. She created her own preschool setting for our daughter that was truly amazing, doing letters of the week to facilitate theme-based learning. From cooking adventures to fun trips around town to art projects- she had a million great ideas and every one of them made a difference. Amanda was with us from before the birth of our second child all the way through her enrollment in preschool, caring for our daughter from infancy and our son from 4-8. I truly can't say enough great things about her, any family would be lucky to have her as their full time nanny. She's wonderful.
