I currently work at a non - profit organization that helps adults with special needs gain independence in their daily life. I take them out into the community and teach them the basic necessities to survive like how to get from place to place using public transportation, help them develop and utilize a daily hygiene routines as well as help them with other basic necessities like counting money, numbers, speaking and writing complete sentences and reading comprehension. I am very passionate about what I do because every day I get to wake up and teach them something new. I know it sounds very cliche but it's the most rewarding feeling to help someone and watch them improve daily by offering them the right guidance. I learn from my clients just like they learn from me and I couldn't ask for anything more. I absolutely love what I do and would love to have the opportunity to experience it with your family! :)
