About Amanda

I have been a babysitter since I was 16 for family members, teachers, and my hairdresser. I have babysat for two children for my hairdresser, the youngest boy was 2 when I started and the girl was 4. I have babysat them for 5 years. My teacher's kids I have babysat for a year until I graduated high school. They were also 5 and 8. I cooked, cleaned, played outdoors, played with arts and crafts, board games, etc. They both have swimming pools so I'm always alert and always stay outside while the children are outside. I have played with the kids on their four wheelers, bikes, and scooters. I was in a mentoring program in high school for elementary kids and middle school kids. I also was in a leadership program through high school to help kids lead their lives in the right path and have someone to look up to. I have babysat on weekends and I don't mind it. I also had a class in high school with special education children. I make the job my first priority if I need to stop what I'm doing to come, I most certainly will. I love and enjoy helping others, whether it's with their children or not. I try to make everyone happy at the same time being respectful to myself and others around me. I was a cheerleader since 5th grade and ran track since 8th grade until I graduated. I have four other siblings (10, 18, 21, and 24). I am the middle child. We all get along, my family is very close. I have two dogs and a cat, I love pets. I am outgoing and love having fun. We have family camping trips every summer and I love the outdoors. I hope to make a difference in people's lives, and I love working with children.
