About Amanda

Hey! My name is Amanda and I would describe myself as a creative and friendly caregiver with three years of paid childcare experience. I'm passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. My previous babysitting roles have shown me the joy of creating relationships and supporting families. I believe in open communication with parents, using their preferred method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular texts or phone calls. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and educational games that promote learning. I'm also a skilled swimmer. With some college education under my belt, First Aid Training, and coursework in Early Child Development, I'm well-equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child. I'm happy to help with cooking/meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
