About Amanda

With a diverse background in writing, tutoring, and communications, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the academic development and success of students. My journey in writing and tutoring began at Boston University (BU), where I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film/Television; I specialized in television writing, coupled with a concentration in English Literature. This foundation has provided me with a strong understanding of storytelling techniques, narrative structures, and the intricacies of written communication. While earning my Bachelor's Degree, I also worked as an Academic Tutor for student athletes at BU. It was during this time that I discovered my love for teaching. Since graduating, I have embarked on a career path in marketing and communications, but I never lost my passion for writing and teaching. This past year, I started a part-time career as a freelance writer and writing tutor.
