About Amanda

As a nurturing caregiver, I'm passionate about providing a safe and stimulating environment for children. My journey into childcare is inspired by my desire to spend more quality time with my daughter while pursuing our dream of completing our own family. After being the fun aunt and babysitter in my younger years, I finally am able to experience the joys of parenthood myself, after undergoing a uterus transplant. An experience that has shaped me and the way that I appreciate life and children. I have developed a patient and friendly approach, teaching emotional health. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring that they receive regular updates about their child's day. I enjoy engaging children in educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ranging in age from infants to early school-age. My home is comfortable, smoke-free, and I have a car for any necessary outings. I live in a newer neighborhood with many kids around.
