About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, understanding I like tutoring because I love working with kids. I am a fourth grade teacher so I do it for a living. I enjoy seeing their eyes light up when they finally understand something and helping them along the way by giving them tricks and tools to use. I'm looking for a tutoring job where I can help elementary level students learn to their full potentials in any subject area. I started tutoring 4 years ago. I currently still tutor the AIS program at my school after school on Mondays helping students with ELA. In my spare time, I like to read, hangout with my family and my dog and go shopping! One thing you should know about me is I am very passionate about what I do. I love helping students and watching them succeed in something that previously was difficult for them. I do not get frustrated easily and will continue working with your children until they understand!
