About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I have a BA in cognitive science (JHU 2011), and I just love getting to spend time with kids - being a part of their growth and discovery of the world makes me so happy! I'm also an avid gardener and love to get outside with little ones. Music is another passion of mine and I'm also willing to instruct children on the guitar or piano. I love to draw, bake and craft. I value education highly, I have teaching experience and I am more than happy to help with homework in any subject. I am fluent in French and happy to introduce this language to your children if desired. I also have a dog and cat of my own, and love all animals. I am CPR-certified, I own a car, I stay up to date on vaccines and I do not smoke. I am looking for about 20-30 hours of work per week, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
