I have worked as a pediatric aide in a hospital setting, assisting occupational therapists and speech therapists during their sessions. I also have multiple years of experience as a summer camp counselor, working primarily with 11-15-year-old age groups and also one on one with special needs children between the ages of 8 and 27. As a private babysitter and nanny, I have worked primarily with children between the ages of 5 months and 6 years.

Amanda was great with our 11 year old that is on the spectrum. She fully understood how to relate to her and help made her day super fun and special while the rest of the family skied. She was a great communicator, punctual, knowledgeable of local fun stuff to do and was even willing to stay late when me and my older daughter got injured skiing and had to go to urgent care. We were very grateful she was able and willing to spend the day with our daughter. I would definitely recommend Amanda if you are in the Durango area and need a great sitter.
