About Amanda

I am a natural at providing care for elders while looking after them as my own family. Since my grandfather has been on hospice care for 4 years, myself and my younger sisters have taken on the role of caregivers. I have management experience in my careers and manage his care with my family as I am the oldest of 5 siblings. I currently work as a caregiver at an assisted living facility and plan to complete my CNA certification in the next few weeks. I am also CPR/First Aid Certified! I'd describe my personality as diverse, caring, and supportive. My experience includes working with those who have Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, autism, severe anxiety/depression etc. I am also bilingual (Spanish)! In my spare time, I like to stay active by weight training, walking my dog, eating new/good food and hiking.
