Since 2011, I have been a regular nanny and an on call babysitter for over 50 families. It is truly a passion of mine to work with children and after some time in leadership positions at different childcare organizations, I am looking to go back to where my heart is which is in one-on-one childcare. Over the years I have worked for various families with different ages, needs and responsibilities. I've been with many families for several years and watched the little 3-year-olds I once played dress up with grow to be teenagers! Kids bring so much joy to my day. I like to stay physically active so I would much rather run in a playground than sit behind a desk. Playing with kids all day and sparking their creativity leaves me feeling energized and excited to come in everyday. Working with kids has really shown me how much impact I can have on a child's life and what a wonderful feeling it is to be a part of a new family.

I highly recommend Amanda. She worked for us for the second half of the school year last year. She was extremely reliable and always showed up on time (7:15am). She helped my two girls get ready and brought them to school each day with a tremendous amount of patience and good cheer. My girls adored her. Several neighborhood parents who often saw her with my girls as she brought them to school mentioned to me how wonderful Amanda was with the kids. We wish we could still employ her, but sadly her classes don't fit with our schedule this year. Any family would be lucky to have her.
