About Amanda

Hi, and thank you for checking out my profile! I am Amanda, an experienced babysitter looking for a great family! I have been a math teacher for over a decade, with experience teaching students in 5th through 12th grade. I've worked with numerous families with children ages 6 months to 16 years old and been babysitting for over a decade. Most recently, I was a part time babysitter for two children, pre-k and 1st grade, responsible for school pick ups and entertaining them until their parents finished work 3x a week. Before that, I supported a family with two teenagers and a dog with the same tasks. for 3+ years. I try to infuse as much creativity and critical thinking into my time with kids as possible, and above all aim to be approachable and understanding. Being a teacher has kept me on my toes, ready for anything and everything. I am a very interactive babysitter, always positive, patient, and willing to accompany your child on whatever adventure they have dreamed up!
