About Amanda

Hi! I am 37. I have a degree in Education. I have years of experience with children through being a director of a child care center, full time teacher & nanny & house manager. I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness specialist & nutritionist. I have had the opportunity to work with newborn through school aged children. I have CPR, First Aid & 100+ hours special education training. I love to be active & doing things outside of the home as well when possible - parks, hikes, swimming, picnics, zoo, ice cream trips etc. I enjoy play dates with other friends and exploring the town. I prefer being able to take the children and go do things vs. being in the home all week. Rainy days are spent in museums, friend dates, building tents, art projects, books, learning, cooking/baking, making popcorn & a good kids friendly movie. I also have no problem helping out in the home with cleaning, laundry, changing sheets & dinner prep! I am looking for full time long term position.
