About Amanda

As an experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher with an Infant/Toddler CDA, along with First Aid and CPR certificates, I have a proven ability to create a safe, fun, and educational environment. I believe in positive guidance and hands on learning. I enjoy following a child's lead when planning activities, supporting their curiosity and interests. Currently, I serve as the Lead of an Infant/Toddler class at a Headstart facility, where I apply my expertise in child development to support the growth and development of our youngest learners. I'm patient, calm, and creative and although my expertise is in the younger ages, I have worked with a variety of ages, and disabilities. I believe in open and honest communication with guardians. I keep up with the preferred method of communication, and how often. I enforce household rules as directed and am happy to help with cooking, meal prep, light housekeeping, any travel requirements (I have a Valid License and reliable transportation)
