I am currently an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at a public school and in my 11th year of of teaching. I previously worked as a Preschool Teacher with the Great Start Start Readiness Program and taught as a special education teacher for 3 years in Ohio. I have been nannying for families for the past 16 summers. The family I have been working with for the past 7 years are no longer in need of a full time nanny as their children are in middle school and are more independent. I am looking for a family who are in need of a part time summer nanny 2-3 days a week. I am CPR and first aid trained and can offer fun learning and summer activities as well as transportation to any of your child's sports, clubs, or the local pool. I look forward to hearing from you.

Amanda is currently under my supervision as a preschool intervention specialist for the Miami County Educational Service Center. This is her second year in this position. Amanda is organized, punctual, and works well with all staff and students. Children in her class range in age from 3-5 years old and have an identified educational disability (i.e. speech impairment; autism; developmental delay). She plans developmentally appropriate activities for the children in her class and targets goals on each child's IEP. Amanda communicates well with parents, keeping them informed and involved in their child's education.
