About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as reliable, empathetic and diligent. My grandmother ignited my passion for animals when I was young. We'd spend most of our time watching Animal Planet together, or in her backyard catching garter snakes and insects. That love for animals carried on into my adult years where I've personally cared for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids. I officially started working with animals when I was 15 rescuing, fostering, and rehoming dogs and cats with my mother. In my spare time, I like to pursue different forms of art. Most recently, I've been teaching myself wood burning. One thing you should know about me is I tend to take a personal interest in those around me, and I gain satisfaction in being of service to people and animals who are in need.
