About Amanda

Hi there, my name is Amanda and I'm an energetic and creative 29-year-old! I started out as a Medical Assistant in pediatrics, but fell into childcare eight years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I have worked for 4 families, one for seven years, and the others for 10 months each. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to bake, hike , roller-skate, read and do puzzles with my friends. I love to sing and travel! I look forward to meeting you.
