About Amanda

I have 3 years of full-time experience, during which I've cared for infant twins, infants, toddlers, and multiple children under 5. My prior babysitting experience includes supervising up to 6 children at once -I have helped many families with childcare since the age of 12. I'm a calm and steady presence and I strive to provide whatever type of attention most benefits the child I am caring for: whether that involves playing with them at the park or with toys, reading, singing, being goofy, taking them to classes/activities, or helping with homework. I am attentive to individual personalities and emotions, encouraging kids to engage with their surroundings, learn, and of course have fun! I have 5 younger siblings who I am very close with. My main occupation is now helping my wonderful husband run an auto-repair business. I enjoy running, weight-lifting, coffee, and cooking! I graduated from UC Irvine with Chinese Studies & Political Science BA degrees in 2021. Thank you for reading!
