About Amanda

I've worked with children for over two decades because I love helping them and their families thrive! I'm calm and collected in stressful situations and find humor in most circumstances. I follow parents' preferred communication methods to keep them informed about their child's day. If any issues arise, I discuss them promptly and with sensitivity. As for household rules, I follow the parents' lead and enforce them consistently. My favorite games to play with children align with their interests and provide learning opportunities. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, I have four teenagers of my own! I'm a certified nursing assistant with CPR and first aid training. I'm also a para educator and Registered Behavior Technician working with children with autism. I am very comfortable working with children with special needs. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I hope to hear from you soon!
