About Amanda

Hello. Thank you for taking a moment to browse over my profile and possibly considering me for a nanny position. I have over 17 years experience working with children from newborn to 13 years of age and I love what I do. I am an outgoing, fun-loving person who enjoys sparking the imagination of children and I pride myself on being very, very good at what I do; playtime, craft and music activities, homework, meals, bathing, story time, and much more. I have patience and am able to correct inappropriate behavior calmly and effectively. From accidents to upset tummies, I have seen it all and can easily meet any child's needs. I absolutely love to teach children. The Aha! moment is what I live for. Because of this, I decided to take college courses to become even more proficient in aiding children to achieve their full potential at their own pace. I am currently a few classes shy of obtaining my Early Childhood Education degree. I look forward to hearing from you. References available.
