I have always worked with children and absolutely love it! October of 2008 to 2015, I was hired as an assistant teacher and music adventure teacher. Throughout that time, I was also on and off nannying for periods of time. In January of 2016 I began nannying for a family with 2 children, a 2-year-old girl and a 2-month-old boy. I was with them until September 2018 when they moved to Wisconsin for work. I then, in October 2018, was hired by KinderCare Learning Center as a Lead Pre-K teacher and phonics/music teacher. I also had the role as stand in cook and "third in charge" at the center. I was there until October 2022 when I moved to Clear Lake IA. I tried merchandising in Mason City but missed working with children and began teaching in Albert Lea MN. I am now looking for something closer and would love to go back to nannying! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I look forward to finding a family to work with!

Amanda has been nannying for us and taking excellent care of our 3 year old daughter for the last year. We have had 2 previous nannies and would rate her the best of the bunch! She is responsible, caring, energetic, TIDY, and flexible. She is able to work long hours (sometimes 10 hours+ without complaining). I feel completely comfortable leaving for work in the morning and knowing that my daughter is in the best hands (next to ours, of course!). She is punctual as well and usually even early. She has reliable transportation and is a safe driver (I test drove with her first and my mother-in-law agrees too). She is also able to do breakfast/lunch/snacks and will even start dinner prep if I'm running late (spaghetti, tacos, etc.) It is such a relief to get home and find the house tidy, clean, dishes done, floor vacuumed and kitchen swept. I used to have to pick up all the time after the other nannies but now I feel guilty because she's usually the one picking up after us! She is always doing crafts and games with our daughter. Also has successfully potty trained her! I don't know what else to say except that we LOVE her and are so sad to be leaving her when we move at the end of June. We are even actively trying to convince her to move out of the country with us! This girl is a gem and deserves the best job and family possible. If you are lucky enough to get her, then pat yourself on the back! Good luck!
