About Amanda

Hello! Thanks for considering me for an important role in your family! I have worked in home for the last 5 years as a caregiver for individuals with many different support needs. Currently, I care for an 8-year-old boy who has autism, mobility challanges, brittle bones, and is non verbal. In the past I worked at a day center for developmentally dissabled adults where I took individuals on outings and ran my own activities. I love working with the special needs population and love coming up with new ways that everyone can participate and try something new. I have done CNA work since 2008 and am comfortable completing all ADLs. I also have a senior pitbull and grew up with cats so I am very pet friendly and happy to care for them. I have experience cooking and cleaning and enjoy that work as well. Thanks!
