About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as multi-passionate, calm and humorous I like working with animals because they bring joy to my life and deserve love and care in return. I've always felt connected to animals and when I'm in a social setting you'll find me petting the nearest animal. I started working with animals when I was a teenager, walking and sitting for neighborhood pets. I've cared for my own pets my whole life and sat for many pets of friends and clients. In my spare time, I like to practice and teach yoga, hike, read and listen to books, enjoy live music and perform improv comedy. One thing you should know about me is I am an honest, straightforward communicator My skills include calming excited or anxious pets, attending to individual pet needs and maintaining routine and boundaries.
