About Alyssa

I've spent the past four years studying childhood development and the last year working in a third grade classroom. I currently have a 4-month-old son and am looking for income that doesn't require me to be apart from him. I'm passionate about fostering children's growth, learning, and creativity. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I believe in open and consistent communication with parents and follow their preferred methods. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and love playing educational games, board games, puzzles, and doing crafts with the children in my care, as well as teaching life skills. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children between the ages of 0 and 11. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and have my CPR training and First Aid certifications.
