About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as caring, sociable, and a little goofy. I adore animals, and always have. They have their own individual personalities, quirks and emotions, and I love spending time with them. I've kept cats, dogs (and other small mammals), fish, reptiles and amphibians. I started pet sitting in my early teens, but didn't start getting paid for it until I was an adult. In my spare time I write and produce my own music! It's what I'm most passionate about these days. Songwriting and my two cats :) Focus on positive play/interaction, situational awareness in public, ie: preventing negative interactions (if able), as well as the ability to remain calm and deescalate negative interactions with other animals in the event that prevention fails. I also have experience with animals with dietary restrictions and health issues.
