My husband and I hired Alyssa in early 2022 to help care for our three-year-old (who has special needs) and our one-year-old while I dealt with some health issues. She went above and beyond helping with anything and everything - from cooking and light housekeeping to ferrying both kids to physical therapy appointments and teaching them to swim (she is also a swim instructor) at our neighborhood pool. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Alyssa! She was always fully engaged with both kids, was very attentive to their needs and came up with different activities she could do with them (e.g. art projects, a daily walk to the park). She's dependable and professional. She worked for us for several months until our needs changed and we were able to enroll our daughter in full-time therapy services and our son in daycare.
