Every summer during high school, I spent a week volunteering at a camp for "differently able children," the majority of whom were on the Autism spectrum. This began my passion for working with those with special needs. Before my senior year, I spent the summer as a personal care assistant for a child with severe mobility limitations, diagnosed with Arthrograposis. I received my B. S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College in 2015, and masters from Worcester State University in 2018. From 2015-2016 I worked as a teacher in a school and residence in a residential program for students with Autism. My girls were 9-17. From 2016-2017 I worked in Early intervention, with children ages 1-3, all with Autism. I am now employed as a speech language pathologist in Berkeley County schools, serving children with a range of disabilities.
