I volunteered at Camp Summit in Texas, which allowed me to work with individuals with severe special needs. I helped shower, dress, feed and lift many different people. I was also a caregiver for elderly individuals, where I would help with their day to day tasks. I learned how to rotate individuals that were bed bound, promote their physical and speech therapy and many other necessary tasks. On top of the fundamentals, I became extremely close to everyone I have cared for. I believe in the importance of creating a positive relationship with individuals I care for and I am always willing to go above and beyond to do so. I am extremely patient, caring, respectful and responsible. I hope to hear from you soon!
