Alyssa was an incredible nanny for our family. From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect fit: Engaging, fun, joyful, energetic and responsible, with a genuine love for children. She always displayed the utmost warmth, patience and professionalism as she cared for our energetic 2.5-year-old son and infant daughter and she quickly became an invaluable part of our household. Alyssa offers that rare combination of joyful energy and responsibility. She tapped into her many years of experience working at infant and toddler care centers to maintain a great nap and meal schedule for both children, while also ensuring every day was filled with spontaneous play and learning. Somehow, between taking care of the kids, she also kept up on light housekeeping, ensuring that the common areas and children’s rooms were neat and tidy. She was always on time, always had a great attitude, and always communicated well. Alyssa is not only dependable and responsible but also a lot of fun! Our toddler bonded with her immediately, and they spent countless hours exploring outside, doing arts and crafts, having picnics, reading piles of books, and doing living room dance parties. He still talks about all the fun he had with “Miss Lyssa.” I highly recommend Alyssa to any family seeking a nanny or babysitter. She is a lovely person, and truly has a gift with children. Anybody would be lucky to hire her.
