About Alyssa

I am currently a student at SUNY Cortland, working toward my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education. I have prior experience working at The Learning Experience daycare, where I cared for children of various ages, primarily 2-year-olds, but also infants through preschool. During the summer, I worked with children up to 4th grade in a summer program. I find so much joy in working with children because I get to share in their excitement about discovering the world, teach them new things, and guide them in understanding what's expected. My daycare experience has given me the skills to nurture and engage with children, and I now work as a substitute teacher for grades K-2 while continuing my studies. I go back to school on January 26th, but I'm always happy to help in any way I can!
