About Alyssa

I've worked at two senior living places. The first one was storypoint, only 25 residents in the whole building but usually had to work by myself. The second place was the grand which had over 200 residents. I fell in love with each resident I had to take care of. I write these residents still to this day and go visit during the holidays because a lot of people don't have families to go home too. I have served them food, cleaned them, dressed them, and done hours of house keeping. House keeping wasn't my job but I always made time to clean their room because it made them feel special, but also made me feel good as well. Helping people is what I do and that seems to be my purpose. I don't move on from anything until I know for a fact it can't be completed, but I work my butt off for everyone around me. Before my grandpa passed away he lived with me, and I took care of him everyday, the smile on his face each time made me feel like I was doing something great for this world.
