October 2019 - June 2020 I was a Special Ed Paraprofessional at an elementary school, working mainly with EBD children. During this time I learned so many things, including different teaching techniques, the importance of patience while working with children with special needs, how to deescalate a difficult situation etc. Special Education is and always will be where my passion is, as I plan on becoming a Special Education teacher in the future. I am looking for a nannying job that is more one-on-one, where I am able to help the child not only with school work but with their emotions/daily living tasks as well.
