Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am currently a 7th grade teacher at a nearby middle school. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in elementary education. I have had a wide variety of experiences in caring for children. I student taught in many elementary school classrooms. During the summer I worked at a summer camp through a local park district with 2nd-3rd graders. I was responsible for supervising the children and creating and implementing daily crafts and activities. On campus, I worked at a daycare center with children ranging from infants as young as 6 weeks through children as old as preschool age.
