About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as honest, empathetic, enthusiastic, and hard working. I like caring for seniors because it gives me a sense of purpose and I enjoy it so much. Ideally, I'm looking for a job that would allow me to work longer hours from home where I have caregiving supplies, such as a lift chair. Jobs that would allow me to do so include family going out-of-town and needing a place for a loved one to stay and be comfortable/happy while they are away. I started caring for seniors when I turned 18. I now have 16 years experience in all levels of care, including hospice. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, volunteer my time at church, or spend time outdoors/travel. One thing you should know about me is I am honest and dependable. Some of my skills include assisting with activities of daily living, hospice care, knowledge of safe lifting/transfer techniques, and experience with memory care.
