About Alyssa

Hi there, my name is Alyssa and I'm an energetic and creative 23-year-old! I just graduated university with a degree in English lit, and recently fell back into childcare! While I have experience caring for babies, I prefer to sit ages 5+. I'm looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $27/hour, but can negotiate if need be. I have my own car, studied early childhood development for my associates, and know basic first aid. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing arts + crafts, reading, playing dolls, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. My experience mainly lies with through family and friends, but have been babysitting for as long as I can remember.
