About Alyssa

I've cared for children most of my life. I started babysitting around age 10/11, and have nannied for large families and children of all ages. I particularly love working with infants, and I worked in a daycare for about five years specializing in care of children under 18 months. I just graduated nursing school in December, and I am currently working as a pediatric nurse at the Children's Hospital of WI. I am on the same pediatric unit that I worked on as a CNA for two years throughout nursing school! During that time, I was also a private nanny for a little boy from the age of 3 months up until he was 2. 5 years old, when I graduated and then recently moved to Lowell, WI. I'm missing nannying so much!! I am also comfortable with working with medically complex or special needs children, given individualized training so that I can be attuned to their needs. I have also been a prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula for almost three years, and I am a certified breastfeeding counselor.
