About Alyssa

As a pediatric registered nurse, I have made caring for children a fundamental part of my life. I grew up with my mom running a daycare in our home, and then I began babysitting myself around 10yrs old, so I have cared for kids for as long as I can remember! I worked as an infant & toddler teacher for about 4 years, and then I was a private nanny for a little boy while in nursing school. I cared for him from about 3mos old to 2. 5yrs old, and it was so hard to leave when I graduated and had to move away! Currently, I am working as a nurse through Children's WI on the pediatric and NICU units. I am a full time early childhood health specialist , caring for kids under 5yrs old. I also have experience as a prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula; and I am currently preparing to take my boards exam to become a certified lactation consultant! As I am working full time during the day, at this time I am only able to provide overnight care within my home.
