I am a certified occupational therapist who has worked with both children and adults with special needs. I have worked in adult day programs for people with mental illness (depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and dementia), and cognitive impairments (traumatic brain injuries, Autism, Down syndrome, and general cognitive impairments). I have experience with adults and children with physical special needs as well (stroke, CP, MS, MD, visual impairments, and coordination problems). I have experience with children 6 months to 12 years in the school, and birth to 3-year-olds therapy settings. I am more than qualified to help with self cares, such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
