About Alyssa

Hello, my name is Alyssa and I am 26 years old. I have a bachelors in psychology and I am currently going for my teaching certification. I have been working with school-aged children for 7 years. I worked at the YMCA for 5 years in the school-age childcare department. While working with the kids, I supervised them while they ate their snack, helped with homework, and did crafts with them. I am currently working at Fall River Public Schools and just got an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher in a Kindergarten classroom! Not only do I have experience working with children in a formal setting, I also have experience working with younger children due to having the chance to babysit family members and family friends' children. I am certified in OSHA, First Aid and CPR, along with having my babysitting certification assigned by American Red Cross.
