I have worked at as a Special Education Assistant at a middle school for the last three and a half months, and during that time have gotten to learn very much about caring for and supporting individuals with special needs. Although I haven't been in this position for very long, I have found that my other experience in childcare has very easily transferred to working with children with special needs. I have been a nanny for collectively about 2 years and have lots of babysitting experience as well. I enjoy interacting with and learning from kids with special needs, and enjoy learning how to best support them in each of their individual needs so that they can thrive.
