Hi, my names Alyssa and I have worked at the YMCA as a Camp Counselor with children from ages 4 to 15 for the past 4 years. During camp I would care for children, play games, do arts and crafts, play sports, go to the pool and help with snack/lunch time from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For my 4th year of camp I was a director, which included me communicating with parents, organizing schedules, and making sure everything ran smoothly. I also worked at an after-school care program with middle school teens where we played games, did community projects, I helped with homework, and played sports. During both programs I have worked with multiple special needs children. Lastly, I nannied for 2 children, which involved me picking them up from school, taking them to extracurricular activities, and helping with homework. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. Lastly, I have worked as a nanny for the past 2 years including transportation, homework help, studying, etc.
