I am familiar with caring for children ranging from infant to 16 years of age. I truly enjoy caring for children and learning about their individual personalities. I have to admit I am a bit of a goof so dancing, singing and making kiddos laugh is definitely a specialty of mine. As an alumni to the Health Professions Academy I also have 4 years experience working with special needs children and I am CPR certified. I am currently attending New Mexico State University and plan to major in Early Childhood Education. Because I plan on majoring in Education, I already have a background check through the university, and can provide proof if needed. Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. Alyssa is an Amazing baby sitter! We were fortunate to find her and have her as our primary sitter/nanny for over a year while in Las Cruces. The only sad part about our family moving to Dallas is that we can't bring Alyssa along. She not only watched our kids but became an integral part of theirs and our lives. Alyssa did a great job communicating the kids day to day activities, issues that may have arise, as well as help with their online class sessions and any homework. She would take them to the parks when they were open, played along with our kids imaginations and helped them with their speech development. She was very protective of our kids when out and about, punctual, very organized and worked great with my unconventional work schedule. We will miss her dearly and I know our children will miss her even more.
