Hey! My name is Alyssa and I am 18 years old. I work at a daycare and have worked with children in a paid position the last 3 years. I have a-lot of experience with special needs children as I am usually the person at work who spends time with our children that have learning disabilities. I have been told that I am very good at working with our friends that have a little bit of a harder time staying focused or just need a little more help! I always try to encourage and help our friends in need. I am not by any means certified in this. I just would like to see if this is something I would like to do within college. I am currently minoring in teaching however I would like to see if I would want to do more than just that. My cousin has muscular dystrophy and I enjoy spending time with him and helping him with all of his needs and has really given me a drive to help other kids in his position or with similar things.
