About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am a first grade teacher in Berkeley County. I have years of experience with babysitting children ages 1-12 and can provide references. I previously worked as an assistant preschool teacher in both my hometown and my college town. I have 2 years of student teaching experience and 2 years of actual teaching! I also love animals (I have a young black lab) and can help take care of your families pets! I would be more than happy to help with homework if needed. I have tutored first and second graders in reading, have a Master of Arts in Literacy Education, hold the Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher Endorsement on my teaching license, and love teaching reading! I am only available for weekend babysitting due to my teaching schedule! Looking ahead to summer 2025, I am fully available and interested in finding a full time nanny position from June-August and I am open to tutoring over the summer.
