About Alyssa

I like tutoring because I get to utilize my teaching experience to support students in a one-to-one setting, ultimately giving them the extra individualized attention they need to meet their academic goals. I started working with elementary students in 2018, as a Playground Supervisor. I have since worked in public education for the last 6 years as an Afterschool Leader and Elementary Teacher of 5th grade students. My skills include growth mindset, subject knowledge, and problem solving. I'd describe my personality as creative, intelligent, and positive. In my spare time, I like to bake and read! It'd be a pleasure to work together to support your children with their learning goals.
