Alyssa was hired to help care for my 80 yr old mother who had Parkinson's Disease/dementia, and other serious health conditions. My mother required a caregiver to help her reintegrate into her home after an extended hospital and rehab stay. The job necessitated assistance with cooking, light housekeeping, medication dispensing and personal care, Mon-Fri. Alyssa more than fulfilled the job requirements, and went far beyond what we requested. She has an excellent intuition with staying one step ahead of the patient. She handled the constant changes with ease, whether they were physical or behavioral. All tasks were done willingly and without hesitation. She started each day with a happy outlook, becoming a kind and compassionate companion to my often unpleasant and difficult parent. Alyssa was employed with us for over 8 mos, from Mar til Nov 2020, when my mother was hospitalized and transitioned into hospice care. My wife & I would highly recommend Alyssa as a personal caregiver to anyone whose elderly parent needs special care and attentiveness.
