About Alyssa

As child development and care was the focus of my studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, I am passionate about engaging in the collaborative emotional, psychological, and physical nurturing of your child/children. For the past two years, I have worked as a nanny and substitute teacher for several elementary schools. In past years, as a member of the Tutor Corps, I facilitated an after-school program at the Geneva Boys and Girls Club. Over the past 11 years, I have cared for the children of several families. This has included caring for newborns and children of all ages, as well as children with down syndrome, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities. In addition, I have worked as a Special Needs Personal Aid, Social Work Assistant, and Resident Assistant. I also currently have a valid CPR certification.
