About Alyssa

At 8 years old I was trusted to watch over a 5-year-old and continued watching him for about 6 years. When I was 11 I would babysit a family friend's toddler. For the next 7 years I was asked to occasionally babysit my cousins and my parent's friend's children, as well as a boy in the foster care system, I had so much fun every time. The week after I graduated I babysat for a family with a fostered 2-year-old and a 4-year-old with autism, 4-5 days a week from 6am-5 p.m. I would prepare meals and help them eat, change clothes and diapers, give bathes, take them out for walks and have nature days, kept them giggling and followed parent's rules/schedules. I have since cared for more families, and hopefully more to come!
