Hi, my name is Alyssa. I've worked with many age groups from spending precious weeks supporting my friends newborn babies. I have been a parent toddler class assistant, preschool assistant and after school care provider for elementary age students. I am a yoga instructor for middle school and highschool students with Friendship Foundation an organization for students with disabilities. I have been a gardening teacher for 3rd graders at a Waldorf school and for middle schoolers through the library. Besides teaching yoga I currently work at an urban farm in Long Beach. I am a studying herbalist and love doing kid safe herbal activities such as vinegar extractions, honey extractions, yummy teas, safe foraging and sour kraft making. I believe nature is our greatest teacher and through nature activities all subjects can be weaved in. I have a early childhood/education degree from CSULB, and I am a forever learner.
